The veteran musician, who was just 53, went limp on stage during the weekend. His tour manager announced through a post: "I'm just plain speechless... You took me across the globe and allowed me to share the stage with you on some of the most impressive and spectacular venues the planet has to offer. The lessons you imparted have truly molded me into the man I am today. Thank you, I adore you."

Born and bred in New York, Fatman Scoop, unfortunately, required revival and was shipped to a hospital, as per "TMZ". The incident reportedly transpired near Town Center Park in Hamden, Connecticut. The artist found himself unconscious and toppled on stage around 8:30 PM, according to "TMZ".

Fatman Scoop, renowned as a hype-man (backing vocalist) and radio and TV personality, burst onto the scene in 1999 with his smash hit "Be Faithful". The track, featuring the Crooklyn Clan and utilizing the same sample as Faith Evans' "Love Like This", enjoyed popularity at his New York home turf prior to its international success following its re-release in 2003.
