MTV Video Music Awards 2024: Witness the Winners Unveiled
Megan Thee Stallion is holding the event where Katy Perry will receive the Video Vanguard Award and put on a performance that spans her entire career.
Eminem kicked off the event with help from Jelly Roll. Other artists slated to perform include Camila Cabello, Chappell Roan, GloRilla, Rauw Alejandro, Lenny Kravitz, and Sabrina Carpenter.
Taylor Swift garnered the majority of her ten nominations for her imaginative black-and-white music video for her album's lead single, "Fortnight," off "The Tortured Poets Department." Her featured artist on the track, Post Malone, was close behind with nine nominations.
Sabrina Carpenter, along with Eminem and Ariana Grande, each had six nominations leading up to the awards ceremony. SZA and Megan Thee Stallion received five nominations each.
