Covert agencies - Mossad claims Iran funds terrorism in Europe ahead of Olympic Games.

The Mossad, Israel's foreign intelligence service, has reportedly issued a warning about potential terrorist incidents targeting Jewish and Israeli institutions in Paris, leading up to the Olympic Games. Media outlets have cited sources within the organization, stating that Iran is using criminal groups in Europe to carry out these attacks. These claims have not been independently verified.

The Jerusalem Post has named two groups, Foxtrot and Rumba, said to be directly responsible for facilitating violent activism and promoting terrorism in Sweden and across the continent. Mossad alleges that these groups have received funding and instructions from Tehran.

Recently, there have been reports of an airsoft grenade being thrown towards the Israeli embassy in Uccle, a neighborhood of Brussels, as well as shots near the Israeli embassy in Stockholm. Neither incident resulted in any casualties, but Mossad has attributed these incidents to Iran. The group behind the Brussels attack is said to be Foxtrot, which is known for involvement in murder and drug trafficking and is active in several European countries.

Apparently, the leader of Foxtrot, a Swedish citizen of Kurdish descent, was arrested in Iran for criminal activities before being recruited and released to carry out terrorist actions.

Mossad also claims that Iran is attempting to harness the global wave of antisemitism during the Gaza conflict to enlist individuals willing to be involved in terror attacks. They are working closely with European intelligence services to prevent these activities.

Tensions between Israel and Iran have remained high since the Islamic Revolution of 1979, which declared Israel as Iran's primary adversary. The Iranian government has been found to be connected to bombing attacks on the Jewish community center in Buenos Aires in 1979, resulting in the deaths of 85 people and injuries to over 300. They are also suspected of involvement in the 1992 attack on the Israeli embassy in Buenos Aires, where 29 people lost their lives.
