Mike and Leyla are choosing to share a living space as they cohabit.
In the RTL jungle living quarters, things got steamy between Leyla Lahouar and Mike Heiter in January. Shortly after, this beloved reality TV duo began discussing future plans, which they are now carrying out. This is a significant leap, particularly for Heiter. He's making a swift transition from his childhood bedroom to their shared love nest.
Some spectators of "I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here!" (I'm a Celebrity) may have had their doubts about the potential development of Heiter and Lahouar's relationship in the RTL jungle. However, it appears that Cupid's arrow found its mark in Australia. Shortly after their return to Germany, Heiter and Lahouar publicly declared their love and have been inseparable since. They're now moving in together.
Next week, this jungle duo will secure the lease for their "dream house" with a garden in Frankfurt, as revealed in an RTL interview by Lahouar. They plan to move in just a week later, on September 1st. They won't need to purchase much new furniture as the new place is already fully furnished with designer items. "It's just so fantastic, we couldn't resist," Lahouar marveled, at 28 years old.
This move represents a significant change for Heiter, who is still residing in his hometown of Essen in his childhood bedroom. For his lover, he's not only leaving home but also relocating to a new city. "I've never taken a step like this before," Heiter admitted in the RTL interview.
"We haven't decided our final destination"
At first, Heiter and Lahouar contemplated moving abroad. Perhaps not to Dubai, where numerous influencers and reality stars currently reside. There's a risk of encountering Heiter's ex-girlfriend, Kim Virginia Hartung, who caused trouble for the couple during I'm a Celebrity. Hartung recently moved to Dubai just a few weeks prior.
However, Heiter and Lahouar want to keep the possibility of moving abroad open. "We haven't decided our final destination yet. We might plan to move abroad in a year, or we might opt to buy a house instead," Lahouar explained. For the time being, renting a fully furnished house is the most feasible choice.
