Drake - Meter-high water in his villa

Drake shared the effects of the extreme weather on his villa on his Instagram account. In his Canadian hometown Toronto, it has been raining heavily for several days - so heavily that even Drake's house could not withstand it. In the clip, he is seen wading through waist-high muddy water in his walk-in closet.

Drake tries to see the situation with humor. "I hope that's an Espresso Martini", he captioned the video for his 145 million followers and played on the brown water masses. The floods flow relentlessly through the terrace door and make their way into the floor of his villa. With a small broom in his hand, the musician can no longer do anything against it.

50,000 square meter estate

In 2020, Drake presented his XXL villa in the industry magazine "Architectural Digest". His estate is 50,000 square meters in size and features, among other things, a full-sized indoor NBA basketball court, rooms with a ceiling height of 30 meters, and a chandelier made of 20,000 hand-polished Swarovski crystals - the second largest of its kind in the world.

With the house that Drake calls "The Embassy", he wants to showcase his wealth consciously. "It's an overwhelming luxury. This embassy conveys the size of the rooms and the materials and details of the floors and ceilings. I wanted to ensure that people could see the work I have invested in from every angle", he explained about his house.

Drake's 50,000 square meter villa, known as "The Embassy," located in Toronto, is famous for its extravagant features. Despite this, not even the indoor NBA basketball court could withstand the heavy rainfall, causing flooding in the flute-shaped chandelier room. Sharing his experiences on Instagram, Drake humorously captioned a video of the floods, saying, "I hope that's an Espresso Martini."
