Megan Fox gets rid of another tattoo
Megan Fox's body is adorned with over 20 different tattoos. Not all of them have been a good decision in the past. She had a love tattoo in memory of her ex-husband painted over in the summer. The small tattoo was in her pelvic area, now she's getting the whole arm.
Megan Fox has revealed which tattoo she wants to have redone. On "The Drew Barrymore Show", the 37-year-old revealed that she doesn't like one of her tattoos. "It's my whole arm, so it's not a big deal," she said sarcastically, "but it'll be fine, we'll save it." According to People, Fox probably got the tattoo in the days between the appearance and a book reading in New York on November 7.
The body of the "Transformers" actress is adorned with over 20 different tattoos. Many of them are her favorite quotes - for example, the words "We shall all laugh at gilded butterflies" from William Shakespeare's play "King Lear" on her right shoulder blade. Over the course of her career, the tattoos became her trademark. However, she explained that she also has doubts about tattoos, saying: "When they get older, you regret them because they just don't look good anymore [...]."
Just a few months ago, Megan Fox had an old love tattoo from her former marriage to Brian Austin Green covered up. Instead of his first name, a snake is now immortalized on her body, stretching from her hip to her bikini line. Her tattoo artist posted a picture of the new tattoo on Instagram.
Her current partner, Machine Gun Kelly, is also a fan of body art. Almost his entire body is covered in engraved symbols and words. Last year, he posted an Instagram photo showing a partner tattoo of the two of them - a voodoo doll on each of their left ring fingers. Was that a good idea? Back in 2011, Megan Fox had her Marylin Monroe tattoo lasered off because she allegedly suffered from a personality disorder. "I don't want to attract that kind of negative energy in my life," she said at the time, according to the Daily Mail.
Megan Fox mentioned wanting to change one of her extensive tattoo collection, specifically her entire arm tattoo, on "The Drew Barrymore Show." Despite her sarcastic remark about the size, fans are intrigued to see what new design might replace her current entertainment-themed tattoo featuring Megan Fox's favorite character, Jessica Rabbit.
The entertainment world is abuzz with speculation that Megan Fox's decision to remove or modify some of her tattoos could serve as an inspiration for her upcoming film roles, given her history of incorporating her body art into her characters' backstories.
