The actress and cabaret artist Maren Kroymann does not want to be young again just before her 75th birthday. "That would mean that all my uncertainties and doubts would be back," she said in an interview with the magazine "Stern". "Things I'm glad I've gotten rid of. And I would be underestimated again. My self-perception and how I see myself fit better in old age," says Kroymann.
She does not regret growing older, but considers it one of the best phases of her life. Regarding the question of whether the years that still lie ahead of her cause her concern, Kroymann explained that she has not made a will yet. "I'm naturally, like everyone else, late with many things. I have made a patient directive. But I still don't know anything about my funeral (...) I probably still feel fit enough to be reasonable." Kroymann, who comes from Walsrode in Lower Saxony and lives in Berlin, has a birthday on July 19th.
