Man lacking clothing causes plane to reverse course
An Aussie aircraft was meant to fly passengers from Perth to Melbourne. But during the journey, a man stripped down and wrecked havoc. He tossed a cabin crew member on the ground and pounded wildly on the cockpit door, compelling the pilot to reverse course.
As per Adelaide's 7News, a guy shredded his clothes and bullied an air hostess, while banging furiously on the door to the pilot's cabin mid-flight. This outlandish display of behavior prompted the pilot to head back to Perth. The police apprehended him upon landing at the city's airport.
The Virgin Australia flight VA696 was assigned the task of flying passengers to Melbourne, a three-hour and a half journey. However, the disruptive passenger compelled the plane to return to Perth. The airline issued a statement. It's unclear if the suspect was hospitalized on his own initiative or by police. Authorities planned to charge him on the 14th of June. The charges were unknown. Virgin Australia expressed their sorrows to the affected passengers and emphasized the paramount value it places on the well-being of both passengers and crew. The event didn't cause any injuries, at least according to the Australian Broadcasting Corporation.
