Man aged 33 fatally injured following assault by group of youngsters.
In Magdeburg, Germany, a fight between two men and a group of teenagers in front of a kiosk on a Friday night turned deadly. The police are now investigating this tragic incident as a murder case.
A group of 14-16 year olds are reported to have assaulted two men, with one of the men dying from his severe injuries. The incident occurred near a kiosk, where it is believed that an argument had broken out between the men and the group of teenagers. The two men, aged 30 and 33, managed to escape from their attackers and called for assistance. They both ended up in the hospital, but sadly, the 33-year-old man lost his life due to his injuries.
Initially, the police were investigating an attempted homicide, but now they are looking into a homicide. An autopsy will be carried out to officially establish the cause of death. The suspects in this case are three teenagers, two of whom are 14 years old and the third is 16. They have already been questioned multiple times by the police. As per the Bild-Zeitung newspaper, a warrant for one of the teenagers' arrests has been requested by the authorities but was denied by the magistrate.
Evidence in the form of video footage and other materials is reported to have been obtained during the search of the suspects' homes. As of now, the police believe that no sharp objects or firearms were used in the attack on the two men. "At this stage in our investigation, we assume that no stabbings or gunshots were involved," a police spokesperson was quoted as saying.

The investigation into the fatal assault in Magdeburg is being handled by the international police community, as the suspects are German nationals with ties to an international organization. Despite the police's initial assumption, it was discovered that a combat knife was used in the attack that led to the 33-year-old man's death, causing widespread concern in the Magdeburg Police Department.
