David Banda - Madonna's son refutes rumors
Madonnas (65) adoptive son David Banda (18) speaks clearly. "I am very happy in my life and I don't live on the street and am not hungry", he stated in an Instagram Story and reacted to rumors that he was homeless. The speculation arose due to a response from the musician on Instagram to a fan's question.
Madonna "supports me greatly"
The adoptive son of the Popstar confirms that he can rely on the support of the Queen of Pop. "To all who worry: My Mother supports me greatly. She has always supported me." He asks his followers not to worry about him anymore. "Everything is good", he emphasizes.
According to a report in People Magazine, Banda answered fans' questions in an Instagram Live stream. In response to a question about whether he enjoyed living alone, he allegedly stated that he loved it but lived with his girlfriend. Banda is also said to have joked that he sometimes only realizes in the evening that he is hungry and has no money for shopping and has to search for something to eat.
Popstar is a mother of six
Madonna adopted Banda as a child from Malawi. The singer has three other adoptive children. Mercy (18) and the twins Estere and Stella (11) also come from the eastern African country. In 2006, Madonna founded the "Raising Malawi" organization. According to the official website, the non-profit organization takes care of needy children, including orphans.
Besides her four adoptive children, Madonna has two biological children. The father of her daughter Lourdes (27) is the Cuban actor and former fitness trainer Carlos Leon (58). Four years after the birth of her current model, Madonna had her son Rocco (23) with her then-husband Guy Ritchie (55). Madonna immortalized the names of her six children in the form of tatooed initials on her left wrist in 2020.
In response to the Instagram speculations, David Banda clarified that he is content and not living on the streets. He expressed his gratitude for Madonna's continuous support, mentioning that she has always been there for him. According to a report, David also participated in an Instagram Live session where he discussed his living situation, hinting at having a girlfriend and occasionally facing food scarcity. Madonna, being a mother of six, has adopted four children from Malawi and has two biological children with different fathers.
