Madonna lets adoptive son not starve

In an Instagram Live stream, David Banda recently revealed that he sometimes only realizes in the evening that he's hungry and has no money for shopping. Fans grew concerned about Madonna's stepson as a result. Now, he clarifies: "Everything is fine".

Madonna's adoptive son David Banda speaks openly. "I am very happy in my life, and I'm not homeless and starving," he explains in an Instagram Story in response to rumors that he was homeless. The rumors emerged following the musician's response to a fan's question on Instagram.

Banda confirmed that he can rely on the support of the Popstar. "To all those worrying: My mother supports me a lot. She has always supported me." He asks his followers to stop worrying about him. "Everything is fine," he emphasizes.

According to a report in "People" magazine, Banda answered fans' questions during an Instagram Live stream. In response to a question about whether he enjoyed living alone, he allegedly replied that he loved it but lived with his girlfriend. Banda is also said to have joked that he sometimes only realizes in the evening that he's hungry and has no money for shopping and then has to go in search of something to eat.

Popstar is the mother of six

Madonna adopted Banda as a child from Malawi. The singer has three other adoptive children. The 18-year-old Mercy, along with the eleven-year-old twins Estere and Stella, also come from the eastern African country. In 2006, Madonna founded the "Raising Malawi" organization. The non-profit organization, according to the information on the official website, takes care of needy children, including orphans.

Besides her four adoptive children, Madonna has two biological children. The father of her 27-year-old daughter Lourdes is the Cuban actor and former fitness trainer Carlos Leon. Four years after Lourdes' birth, Madonna had her son Rocco with her then-husband Guy Ritchie. Madonna immortalized the names of her six children in the form of tattooed initials on her left wrist in 2020.

Madonna's dedication to children extends beyond her own family, as she founded the "Raising Malawi" organization to support needy children, including the homeless. David Banda, one of Madonna's adoptive sons, has faced rumors of homelessness and financial struggles, but in an Instagram Story, he assured his followers that he's not homeless and his mother, Madonna, provides him with significant support.
