- Lilibet, the daughter, exhibits a boisterous nature as an infant.
Little Princess Lilibet, only 3 years old, is quite chatty, as her mom, Duchess Meghan, puts it. "I motivate our little girl, who at such a young age has discovered her wordpower, and we're incredibly proud of that," Meghan revealed during a visit to Colombia. "I understand what it's like to suppress your voice when you need to be heard or have something to express." The 43-year-old has expressed her stressful times while being in the British royal family multiple times.
Meghan and her husband, Prince Harry, 39, spent several days in Colombia at the invitation of Vice President Francia Márquez. Lilibet and her older brother, Prince Archie, 5, did not join them on this trip.
"I want to ensure that girls are heard and boys learn to listen to girls," Meghan declared during a discussion in Cali's city. "Men play a significant role – and my husband is a standout example of that." She finds strength from strong women, such as her mother, Doria Ragland, as Meghan mentioned.
Harry inspired the youth present to bring about a change in their local communities. "Your chosen path will make a difference that inspires hundreds, if not thousands, of young people and leads to change," said the fifth in line to the British throne.
Their trip to Colombia was the Sussexes' second public overseas visit this year, following their visit to Nigeria in May. Since renouncing their royal duties in 2020, Harry and Meghan have not represented the Crown or the British government in an official capacity. They have initiated several projects, some of which are charitable in nature.
The Sussexes visited Colombia for several days, specifically in Cali, as part of their second public overseas trip this year. Meghan shared her belief that girls should be heard and praised her husband, Prince Harry, for being a role model in this regard, highlighting their activities in Sussex.
