Motsi Mabuse - "Let's Dance" star talks about everyday family life
What is everyday family life like for Motsi Mabuse (42) with her child and husband? The "Let's Dance" judge usually keeps her private life out of the public eye as far as possible. Now she has given a rare insight into her life as a mother. "When I see our little girl, I recognize myself in her. She already has her own strong personality at the age of five," the professional dancer enthuses about her daughter in an interview with Bild am Sonntag.
Motsi Mabuse: "I have the best man"
Mabuse has been married to Ukrainian professional dancer Evgenij Voznyuk since 2017 and their daughter was born in August 2018. The family lives near Frankfurt am Main, and Mabuse and Voznyuk run a dance school in Kelkheim. Mabuse has also been a member of the jury on the RTL dance show"Let's Dance" since 2011, where she started out as a professional dancer in 2007. So the couple are unlikely to be bored, but Mabuse is "happy": "I have the best man for me by my side. [...] We have the same dreams. We want to work, be successful and enjoy our lives together. Evgenij protects me, he's just there."
Their daughter is growing up trilingual
Their daughter is growing up with them in three languages, Mabuse continues: "We speak English with our daughter. She speaks Russian with her father and grandparents. My husband and I talk to each other in German." The family also has a ritual on Sundays: "A long walk through the Taunus mountains grounds me and gives me strength," says Mabuse.
