Despite the decrease in new start-ups, the overall trade volume in Germany remains robust. In fact, there was a 1.5% increase in exports and a 1.2% rise in imports during the same period, showing that established businesses are still actively engaging in trade activities.

Additionally, the German government has announced plans to boost trade and investments in start-ups, aiming to lessen the impact of the decline in the number of new start-ups and to maintain Germany's status as a hub for innovative businesses.
