In June, Lena Meyer-Landrut had to cancel several concerts due to strong pains. A few days later, she wrote on Instagram: 'Slowly getting back on track'. Another performance was cancelled now.

Medical emergency - Lena Meyer-Landrut has to cancel another performance

The musician Lena Meyer-Landrut had to cancel her performance due to health reasons. She was supposed to perform tonight at the Ansbach Open festival in Mittelfranken. "Due to a medical emergency, Lena unfortunately cannot perform tonight in Ansbach", the organizers of the festival stated on their website. Singer Leony will replace her with an extended solo show instead.

After cancelling several concerts, Meyer-Landrut (33) wrote on Instagram at the beginning of July: "Slowly getting back on track. - A few days of rest and relaxation were necessary." She thanked everyone for their get-well wishes. Meyer-Landrut is currently on tour with her new album "Loyal to myself".

The organizers of the Ansbach Open wrote: "We will inform you about a possible partial refund in the coming days and ask for your understanding and patience. We wish Lena a quick recovery and Leony and you a great show to conclude the Ansbach Open." The post from the singer was shared on her Instagram account. "We hope for your understanding. It breaks Lena's heart that she cannot perform", it says.

Despite the unfortunate cancellation, the Ansbach Open festival in Bavaria, Germany, continues with a surprise replacement. Singer Leony will take over with an extended solo show, promising a night filled with music. Due to Lena Meyer-Landrut's health issue, she was unable to perform in Ansbach, which is located in the region of Mittelfranken.
