Singer Lena Meyer-Landrut has now cancelled the remaining two concerts this year, on a Friday in Stuttgart and a Saturday in Echternach, Luxembourg. Her team announced this in an Instagram story. "A large part of the shows were almost sold out and it is therefore all the more painful to disappoint so many people", the message reads. The team also posted an audio message from the singer to her fans: "It breaks my heart and I so wish I didn't have to do this. But as you may have seen in the previous slide, I have to cancel the remaining shows in this year due to health reasons", says Meyer-Landrut.

The singer has been to the emergency room "three times in the last few weeks with severe cramps", she said. "And every time it catches me, my crew, the band, and of course also you fans, totally unexpectedly. And every time it's a shock that's not pleasant for anyone." The singer therefore "has to pull the plug here." In the end, Meyer-Landrut thanked and apologized to her fans. She is now taking "a short break" for her health.
The Eurovision Song Contest winner of 2010 had cancelled several concerts in the past few days and weeks, some just before they were due to begin. After the first two cancelled shows in Munich and Wangen, the 33-year-old took a few days off and reported to her fans on Instagram that she was "slowly getting back on my feet again". After that, she played two concerts in Plauen and Wolfsburg, but now all the remaining concerts have to be cancelled. Meyer-Landrut is currently on tour with her new album "Loyal to myself".
