Laura Wontorra covers the "Box Show celebrating Exceptionalities"
On the 14th of September, Stefan Raab and Regina Halmich will once again face off in the boxing ring. This highly anticipated event will be overseen by Elton, and RTL has confirmed who will be providing live coverage from the Düsseldorf PSD Bank Dome.
The anticipated third battle, dubbed "The Clark Final Fight" by RTL, promises to be a spectacle of epic proportions. The Cologne-based station will be sending its top talents into and around the ring for this grand event. It was revealed in a press release on Monday that the versatile moderator Laura Wontorra would be reporting on the action live.
Elton, Raab's former "Showpraktikant", will be hosting the event, while Frank "Buschi" Buschmann will provide commentary in his signature "Ninja Warrior Germany" style. According to RTL, approximately 14,000 spectators will be privy to a live spectacle and a "Raab-style show firework" when Raab and Halmich step into the ring once more. The event has already sold out. RTL will broadcast live from 20:15 on both RTL and RTL+.
"There's no room for fun in the ring"
Before the main event, RTL plans to offer a "pre-show of superlatives", boasting "national superstars for the entrance, breathtaking show acts, lots of glamour and celebrities around the boxing ring included". Celebrities such as former boxing world champions Dariusz Michalczewski and Firat Arslan will be present in the Golden Circle, alongside numerous other famous faces. Following the boxing match, RTL presenter Frauke Ludowig will host a "Special: The Talk Afterwards" live from the hall, where audiences can expect the first interviews post-fight and switches to the influencer loge, featuring Bella Lesnik.
Halmich has been rigorously preparing for her final fight for months. "I've been training several times a week, just like I used to. My aim is to be the better boxer, but Raab excels as an entertainer. His comeback path was a challenging one; in the ring, there's no room for fun", she revealed to RTL, acknowledging that despite their fondness for each other, the fight would be merciless and pitted man against woman.
After the intense boxing match, viewers can tune into RTL+ for an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at the event, featuring unseen moments from the ring and the influencer loge. The television broadcast will also include live interviews with the boxers and celebrities, providing a comprehensive post-fight analysis.
During breaks between the rounds, fans can enjoy various entertainment segments airing on the television, adding a fun element to the serious boxing competition.
