Kiosk proprietor accused of starting a fire

In the middle of May, a tragic kiosk fire occurred in Düsseldorf that resulted in the deaths of three individuals. The authorities have pinpointed the kiosk owner as the likeliest suspect behind this devastating inferno. They surmise that he was taken aback by the detonation he initiated.

A 48-year-old man, identified as the kiosk owner, is being considered as the perpetrator in the explosion and fire that claimed three lives and injured sixteen. According to the latest reports from the police and prosecution, his guilt has been determined.

Investigators suspect that the man spilled gasoline inside his kiosk and lit it up. It is assumed that he was taken aback by the explosion he inadvertently caused. The man is one of the three victims. Prior to this, he had been arguing with some neighbors and was also dealing with a temporary contract for the kiosk operation that was set to lapse by the end of the year. Additionally, the man had been admitted to a psychiatric hospital due to mental health issues as found during the homicide squad's investigation.

A 55-year-old female resident, who was critically injured in the fire, remains in the intensive care unit. The police are currently investigating the case for murder and arson. If the present investigation remains unaltered, the case is set to be closed given that the only potential criminal is deceased.

Astonishing Insights from Investigators

A kiosk on the ground level of the afflicted residential and commercial building contained spilled gasoline as a catalyst. This mixture of gas and air likely resulted in a lethal explosion when ignited. The body of the kiosk owner was discovered near the rear entrance of the store. The medical examiner concluded that his demise was due to the consequences of the explosion, which occurred around 2 a.m. on May 16th.

A corpse of a 55-year-old occupant of the building was found on the first floor, above the kiosk, with recent injuries. He perished as a result of smoke inhalation. Conjectures have been rife that this was a blow-up cover-up. However, investigators presently think that the man, consumed by desperation, committed suicide to prevent being engulfed by flames. Reports allege that a wall of flames prevented him from jumping out of the window and the escape route through the stairs was blocked by hefty smoke.

The fire rapidly engulfed the entire six-story edifice. The fire department had to save a number of individuals from the balconies since the stairs offered no escape. Surrounding houses also suffered considerable damage. To top it off, several vehicles parked in front of the house were set aflame as well. The rescue team found a huge amount of debris. The explosion even damaged a building from across the street.
