King Charles III brings fragrance to the market
For those who have always wondered how a king smells, they may now have their answer. A water developed in collaboration with King Charles III, priced at €160, is now available for purchase.
King Charles III has introduced a new water. Inspired by the Highgrove Gardens, it is named "Highgrove Splash Luxury Cologne". The 100-ml bottle is sold for £135 (approximately €160) on the Shop on the Highgrove-Website.
The royal luxury fragrance contains, according to the product description, "a living citrus scent that blends with the exquisite essence of cypress", as well as base notes of Vetiver and Cedarwood, which give the "exceptional fragrance of Wealth and subtle complexity". The product description further promises "a hint of luxury" for every shaving experience. The scent is said to remind one of the charm of the Highgrove Gardens immediately.
Along with the men's fragrance, a whole Highgrove line of shaving products has been launched. They were developed in collaboration with Truefitt & Hill, the luxurious barbershop in London. In addition to the fragrance, the Highgrove Collection includes, among other things, an oil for before shaving and a triple-milled soap.
This is not the first foray of King Charles into the world of perfumes. In 2022, the then Prince of Wales, in collaboration with Penhaligon's Perfume House, released the fragrance "Highgrove Bouquet". The Highgrove Gardens served as inspiration for this fragrance as well. The estate in Gloucestershire in the south of England has been Charles' residence for many years.
King Charles III, as the new monarch of the British Monarchy, continues to make his mark beyond politics. His collaboration with Penhaligon's Perfume House in 2022 resulted in the release of the fragrance "Highgrove Bouquet," and now, he's venturing into the realm of entertainment with the launch of "Highgrove Splash Luxury Cologne."
