Kevin Spacey makes a reappearance on filming location
After the legal system exonerated him, Kevin Spacey's career took a hit, but there's a possibility of a resurgence for the two-time Academy Award recipient. Recent reports suggest that Spacey is back in action for a new film production. He shared a picture on his social media, showing him in period attire, mounted on a horse in Phoenix. The caption hinted at his return to work, stating "A little banged up, but glad to be back in the saddle."
The post didn't disclose any details about the project, but British talk show host Piers Morgan expressed his pleasure over Spacey's return to filming. Spacey had a chat with Morgan on his YouTube show "Piers Morgan Uncensored" in 2023. During the interview, Spacey revealed his financial woes, including potential foreclosure on his Baltimore house and substantial legal bills.
In the previous years, Spacey dealt with two trials. In October 2022, a New York jury decided in his favor in a case involving allegations of sexual misconduct by his co-actor Anthony Rapp, who claimed Spacey harassed him when Rapp was only 14 years old. Rapp's accusations were the beginning of a series of misconduct allegations that led to Spacey's downfall. Netflix dropped him from the hit series "House of Cards," and Ridley Scott replaced Spacey with Christopher Plummer in "All the Money in the World."
Last year, Spacey was found not guilty in London following accusations of indecent acts or forcing sex upon four individuals between 2001 and 2013. Spacey continued to deny all allegations and pleaded innocent to each charge. Since the accusations against him surfaced, Spacey has had a limited workload. His last on-screen appearance was in the thriller "Peter Five Eight," and he will portray the devil in director Massimo Paolucci's "The Contract."
Despite the legal victories, Spacey's reputation has been tarnished due to multiple allegations of sexual harassment. These allegations led to consequences such as the cancellation of his roles in "House of Cards" and "All the Money in the World."
