In the latest Saturday episode, hosted by Dua Lipa and featuring her as the musical guest, Michael Longfellow portrayed a talk show host who entertained parents played by Heidi Gardner, Mikey Day, and Kenan Thompson.

Longfellow expressed his worry about recent incidents happening at universities across the country and opened the floor for discussion with his guests. Gardner and Day's characters admitted their concerns regarding their children's involvement in protests against Israel's fight with Hamas. However, Thompson expressed his full support for the youth fighting for their beliefs.

When asked how he felt about his daughter, a student at Columbia University, getting involved in the protests, Thompson seemed amused. "What's that now? When whose daughter is out there? No man, you buggin'!", he said.

Thompson stated that his daughter would not participate in the protests, "because I'll tell you what ain't free - Columbia!" He further expressed his irritation towards the school for charging exorbitant tuition fees and him working hard to foot the bills.

He detailed the various jobs he performs to make ends meet, such as driving for Uber, Uber Eats, cutting grass, selling Gucci wallets and even life coaching on Instagram, in order to afford his daughter's education.

On Tuesday, Columbia University witnessed around 282 protesters enter Hamilton Hall and lock themselves inside, which led to the intervention of the New York City Police Department. Similarly, The City College of New York saw 282 protesters arrested, with 102 of them not connected to the college. Of the 112 people arrested at Columbia, 32 were also unrelated to the university.

CNN's Shimon Prokupecz, Mark Morales, and Celina Tebor aided in this report.
