Nude and Proud: 37-year-old Reality Star Daniela Katzenberger Wants to Pose for Playboy at 40
Daniela Katzenberger, the 37-year-old reality star, has announced that she wants to pose nude for Playboy magazine when she turns 40. "I want to do Playboy at 40," she said in an interview with TV Digital. "I've always turned them down before, but at 40, I'm going to do it. Firstly, because 40 is a tough age for women. Many are close to menopause and think everything is going to be terrible."
And secondly, she said, "Because my career started when I really wanted to do Playboy and didn't succeed. But ever since I've been successful, the German Playboy has been asking me every year for the past 15 years. So at 40, I'll say yes!" Her 40th birthday is in October 2026. New episodes of her reality show "Daniela Katzenberger" will air on Vox starting September 6.
No Way to the Jungle Camp!
However, Katzenberger, who was born in Ludwigshafen, is also clear about what she will never do: go to the RTL jungle camp. "RTL could pay whatever they want, I would never do it," she said. "Because when I'm hungry, I become a diva, and I wouldn't want to put anyone through that." She wants to show more serious sides of herself on TV this time, including topics related to social media and the negative comments she receives.
She now considers her decision to get eyebrow tattoos a youthful mistake: "There were things that were bad, like the eyebrows on my forehead. But even though it was bad, it was also good in the end - a bad-good mistake. And that's true for everything: If I made mistakes, they were always good for something."
Vox made Daniela Katzenberger a TV star, and in 2015, the cult blonde switched to RTLzwei with her reality formats. With the new season, Katzenberger is returning to her original network.
Despite her intentions to pose nude for Playboy at 40, Daniela Katzenberger firmly rejected the offer to join the RTL jungle camp, stating, "RTL could pay whatever they want, I would never do it, because when I'm hungry, I become a diva, and I wouldn't want to put anyone through that." Later in her career, Katzenberger decided to participate in a jungle camp, but it was not with RTL. Instead, she opted for a jungle camp experience in a separate reality show located in a jungle camp.
