"YEEZY presents the foldable future of footwear, YZY POD," wrote the rapper and fashion designer in a screenshot previously posted on X. YZY POD is the name of the latest footwear, which the rapper praises as the perfect travel companion. Ye, as Kanye West now wants to be called, wants a whopping 200 dollars for the sock shoe and says that "no imitations should be accepted".

Although it is the first launch since his contract with Adidas ended in October 2022, fans of the brand are reacting angrily: "200 dollars for a sock is crazy," wrote one X user, while another joked: "Is it 200 dollars a sock or do you get a pair?"

One user seems to have cracked the code and writes: "1: Under US 6 / EU 39, 2: US 7 - US 9.5 / EU 40 - 43, 3: US 10 - US 13 / EU 44 - 47", because apparently a sock shoe doesn't have to fit exactly like a normal shoe, but rather sit like a normal sock.
