Justin Timberlake to perform on tour for the first time post-arrest
Pop star, nabbed and slapped with DWI charges in Sag Harbor, New York, during the wee hours of Tuesday morning, is scheduled to perform at the United Center in Chicago on the 28th and 29th, as part of his “Forget Tomorrow” world tour.
Timberlake's Impersonation found him:
- Clinking glasses at a local hotel's restaurant and bar late night Tuesday,
- Allegedly driving his 2025 BMW in a less-than-sober state after midnight,
- Ignoring the "Stop" sign and veering out of his assigned lane, according to Sag Harbor Police.
As per court records, Timberlake stated he only downed "one martini and followed his pals home" to the cops.
The Sag Harbor Village Police Department officer noted that Timberlake seemed distracted, spoke slowly, swayed while standing, and failed all standard soberness tests.
This three-time refusal to take a chemical test landed Timberlake in custody and an overnight jail stay, before his appearance in court. The authorities released him without bail, and his next court date is set for July 26th.
We've reached out to Timberlake's reps for comments, but haven't heard back yet.
Following the Chicago shows, Timberlake will head back to New York for performances at Madison Square Garden on the 25th and 26th.
