Timberlake to Face Court on Tuesday

A law enforcement source told Associated Press that Timberlake is expected to appear in court in Sag Harbor, at the eastern end of Long Island, on Tuesday. He has since been released, reported news agency DPA. The source could not publicly discuss details of the ongoing investigation and spoke to AP under condition of anonymity.

Timberlake's representatives did not immediately respond to AP's request for a statement.

The singer, who is married to actress Jessica Biel and has two children, first gained fame as a member of boygroup *NSYNC and has since become successful solo. Currently, he is on tour with a new album and is scheduled to perform in Chicago and New York in the coming days.
