Schlager - Jürgen Drews surprisingly at the "SchlagerHammer"

Jürgen Drews (79) surprised his fans with an appearance in Brandenburg. The singer ("A Bed in the Cornfield") had actually bid farewell to the stage with a big show in the past year. Now, he performed with his daughter Joelina (28) at the "SchlagerHammer" in Oranienburg.

For the show of Sender Schlager Radio, among others, Lucas Cordalis, Klaus & Klaus, Annemarie Eilfeld, and Paulina Wagner were announced. According to reports, the highlight of the evening was supposed to be the awarding of Singer Michelle with the Schlager-Radio-Prize for her life's work.

Already bid farewell

The singer, also known to his fans as the "King of Mallorca," had announced his stage retirement for autumn 2021. In the ARD, his farewell show "One Last Time: The Great Schlager Farewell" with Drews was then broadcast in 2023.

Florian Silbereisen hosted the show the previous year, and among others, Andreas Gabalier, Roland Kaiser, and Mickie Krause were there. In addition, the album "Geil war's ... Thanks, Jürgen!" was released.
