Julia Roberts is now a typical US "college mom"

Colleges in the United States are notorious. For the offspring who are drawn there, they represent a new phase of life, which often also brings with it a certain lifestyle. This doesn't leave parents like Hollywood star Julia Roberts cold either.

Julia Roberts is an enthusiastic "college mom". She is passionate about the college experience of her 19-year-old twins Hazel and Phinnaeus, she told Jimmy Fallon on the "Tonight Show". When asked by the presenter whether the actress has typical college fever and cheers on the teams at games, she replied: "Oh yes, you immediately get the attitude: this is my whole life." Roberts also wears the colors with which the respective college identifies with pride. "I do all these things," the Hollywood star revealed.

According to "The List", Julia Roberts' twins study at the University of California in Berkeley. Her youngest son Henry, aged 16, is happy to be the only child in the house, but he also misses his two siblings. Overall, her three children are doing "great", Roberts said.

Supporting her children's school and college is close to Julia Roberts' heart. She herself had never been lucky enough to have a college experience, she said in an interview with "Extra". "It's really fascinating to see how it's developing for them. I'm just happy for them." The 56-year-old was therefore "totally" excited when Hazel and Phinnaeus started their studies.

Even though her eldest children are now 19 years old, she can still be the same mother she used to be, she also explained. Speaking to Today, Roberts said there is no eye-rolling in the family and a "great level of understanding" they have for each other. "I educate them outside the home the same way I do at home. That is, 'Are you getting enough sleep? You sound like you're sick. Are you drinking tea?' And, 'Text me when you get home so I can see you're okay,'" says the actress.
