Johnny Depp and Will Smith enjoy Italy
Andrea Bocelli celebrates his 30th anniversary on stage in Tuscany. He invited a multitude of stars for the occasion, some of whom are already in Italy. Among them: Johnny Depp and Will Smith, who are currently passing the time on a colleague's yacht.
Johnny Depp and Will Smith are traveling together on a yacht. A post on Instagram from the Egyptian singer Ahmed Saad shows the two megastars on a boat off the Italian coast. Smith and Depp have come to Italy for Andrea Bocelli's event. They will both perform.
In the photos, Smith and Saad smile at the camera, while Depp hides behind tinted sunglasses. The "Pirates of the Caribbean" star wears a fittingly tattered shirt for his legendary film role. With his long jeans, he is less summery dressed than his companions, who wear short-sleeved shirts.
Saad thanks for the shared time in a short text. "Nice feeling to meet with friends. Thank you my friends for the beautiful visit", he writes. On board is also the German DJ Rampa, as another photo in the post shows.
Further star guests announced
In celebration of his 30-year anniversary in the music industry, Bocelli is hosting a three-day event named "Andrea Bocelli 30: The Celebration". On July 15, 17, and 19, concerts will take place at the Teatro del Silenzio in Bocelli's hometown Lajatico in Tuscany. The event is scheduled to be released as a concert film in cinemas worldwide in the fall, as Fathom Entertainment announced.
Bocelli announced Depp as a guest star on Instagram on July 3. He referred to the actor as a "Rockstar, who is loved and acclaimed everywhere". Depp founded Hollywood Vampires in 2012 with Alice Cooper and Aerosmith-guitarist Joe Perry, in which he both sings and plays the guitar.
On July 14, Bocelli announced on Instagram that Smith would also be a part of the event. He is proud to welcome the "artist, acclaimed actor, producer, and musician" as a guest. Besides him and Depp, other stars like Ed Sheeran, Brian May and more are on the stage.
Will Smith and Johnny Depp are set to perform at Andrea Bocelli's 30th anniversary celebration. Fathom Entertainment has announced that a concert film of the event will be released worldwide in the fall.
