In March, it's revealed that TV host Johannes B. Kerner tied the knot with his ladylove Alina Schiess in a low-key civil service. Now, they're celebrating their romance in style, welcoming high-profile guests to Sylt. Reports by Bild suggest about 150 guests made their way to Sylt over the weekend to join in the festivities with Johannes B. Kerner and his missus Alina Schiess. RTL's snaps captured celebrities like actress Veronica Ferres, TV host Günther Jauch, football coach Jürgen Klopp, and sports presenter Marcel Reif landing at Sylt airport. Designer Guido Maria Kretschmer and his hubby Frank Mutters, who call Sylt home, arrived in a stylish convertible.
There were whispers about Verona Pooth and her husband Franjo too. They too hopped off the flight to Sylt but claimed they were only there for a peaceful seaside vacation, without a valid invitation. However, Bild reports they're lodging in the same hotel as the Kerners' other guests.
The party went down at Sylt's reveler magnet "Sansibar". The menu supposedly included North Sea turbot, juicy beef tenderloin, and sweet Kaiserschmarrn for dessert. Merely weeks before, Scooter frontman H. P. Baxxter celebrated his nuptials with his 35 years junior wife Sara in the very same restaurant. The vicinity around the restaurant was taped off prior to the event. Johannes B. Kerner, the 59-year-old, and his 31-year-old bride Alina Schiess managed to remain incognito.
According to Bild, the lovebirds exchanged their vows in a civil ceremony approximately six months following their fall 2023 meeting. This is Kerner's second marriage. He was with first wife, hockey national player Britta Becker, from 1996 to 2016. Their eldest daughter Emily Blomma was born in 1999. Kerner and Becker share three other children: Nik David, Polly Marie, and Jilly-Lina.
Rumor has it, Kerner met his second mate at a social gathering. The pair is said to share a passion for art. Schiess is an art historian and manages an art consultation agency.
