IN BURBANK, CALIFORNIA, ON SEPTEMBER 30TH: Common joins forces with Jennifer Hudson on "The Jennifer Hudson Show," set to broadcast on October 3, 2024, in Burbank, California.

Jennifer interrogates her partner Common on his remarks concerning a potential marriage proposal.

The television host and singer invited her boyfriend, the musician-actor, onto her talk show this week, leading their discussion to Common's recent comments on marriage.

Jennifer brought up Common's interview on "The Breakfast Club" this summer, where he noted they had an "incredibly wholesome and stunning relationship." He also made it clear that he would marry Hudson if given the chance.

"So, I heard you've been talking about marriage. What's the deal with that?" Hudson inquired Common.

"Well, you remind me of a quote your mom said, 'A man knows what he wants,'" he replied. "I was expressing my genuine feelings, listen, Jennifer is the one for me."

"If I were to get married, it would be to Jennifer Hudson-Kate," he added. "I was just being upfront."

Jennifer visibly smiled.

Rumors of their relationship have circulated since 2022, and they officially came out as a couple during an episode of her show in January 2024.

Common has been romantically associated with singer Erykah Badu, actress Taraji P. Henson, tennis legend Serena Williams, and comedian Tiffany Haddish in the past.

"Jennifer, with Common's public affirmations, it seems there's a lot of entertaining discussion about your relationship in the entertainment world lately."

"Their shared love story has become a popular topic in the realm of entertainment, fueling speculations about their future plans."
