Jennifer Hudson prepares for the festive season and the forthcoming episode run of her talk program.

Everyone's been going on about, "It's been a decade since your last album," and Hudson replies, "I don't share that sentiment because I sing in everything I do." I mean, whether it's a soundtrack, a happy place project, or anything else, I'm always crooning.

Hudson's fans can anticipate a Christmas album from her, which she's longed to create for a while now.

Hudson stated, "I've done everything that's been requested of me throughout my career, and now it's my turn to do what I want." Something she's always wanted to achieve. "I'm a holiday enthusiast. I adore the holidays, and I simply want to share the joy, which is why it's titled 'The Gift of Love.'"

Moreover, Hudson will be entering the third season of her self-named daytime talk show.

Hudson aims to bring joy to her viewers and herself every day.

"So what does that mean for me? It's about deciding each morning what will make me smile, what can make me happy, what can I do for myself?" she said. "Emphasizing the positive and not necessarily that things must be negative to choose joy, but rather making an effort to find your joy your way."

She truly embodied this in July with a video that went viral of Hudson singing "Hallelujah" in the Chateau de Versailles.

Hudson mentioned, "Given how I was feeling in that moment, and the 'amazing' acoustics of the location, I couldn't resist the urge to sing."

"I never would've imagined the impact it would have, because afterwards I was wandering around Paris and everyone was like, 'When you sang 'Hallelujah,' your performance was incredible!'" she said. "I was just reacting to what I was feeling in the moment. I really was."

Trusting her spirit, Hudson has been doing so ever since she began her journey 20 years ago as an 'American Idol' contestant. She stated, "It feels meant to be to be interviewing stars on my syndicated show, when I used to be the one being interviewed."

"Everything in my life is a full circle," Hudson said. "I was a 'American Idol' contestant, then I was a coach on 'The Voice.' I was a celebrity being interviewed, now I'm the host interviewing celebrities. It takes a moment to shift into that."

Season 3 of "The Jennifer Hudson Show" starts on Monday.

Hudson shared her excitement, saying, "I've always loved entertaining, and with the talk show, I get to do it every day in various ways."

During her free time, Hudson enjoys watching movies and Broadway shows, finding them as entertaining as her own performances.

At the Pre-GRAMMY Gala and GRAMMY Salute to Honorees Julie Greenwald and Craig Kallman event on February 4, 2023, situated in Los Angeles, California, Jennifer Hudson gave a remarkable performance onstage.
