Actress - Jane Fonda on sex in old age: "If I were to take a lover, he would have to be 20"
Actress Jane Fonda, 85, apparently has no interest in men her own age. "I'm ashamed to say this, but if I were to take a lover, he would have to be 20," Fonda reveals in comedian Heather McMahan's podcast "Absolutely Not".
She is visibly amused and asks why an older partner would not be an option. "Because I don't like old skin," the acting legend continues.
Fonda is known for not mincing her words. Her appearance on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" in 2020, for example, in which she spoke openly about her sex life, made many headlines. "I don't have time. I'm old and I've had so much of it. I don't need it right now because I'm too busy," said the 85-year-old.
The actress has been rumored to have had numerous love affairs with prominent men over the decades. Fonda was married three times: her first marriage to director Roger Vadim lasted from 1965 to 1973. Shortly afterwards, she tied the knot with politician Tom Hayden, followed by a divorce in 1990. She finally made her third and final attempt with TV tycoon Ted Turner in 1991. The marriage lasted around ten years.
