Isabel Edvardsson is pregnant again
Isabel Edvardsson has been an integral part of "Let's Dance" since the start of the RTL show. However, she will soon be taking a break from the show. The Swede is currently expecting her third child.
"Let's Dance" star Isabel Edvardsson has good news for her fans: the 41-year-old is pregnant again and is expecting her third child with her husband Marcus Weiß.
Edvardsson posted a picture on her Instagram page showing her hands on her already visible baby bump. She wrote: "From now on, everyone can see it and Marcus is making me a bowl of pickles." She also garnished the post with the hashtags "mama", "glück", "schwangerschaftnr3" and "diebrüderfreuensich". She also explained: "Life is beautiful. Enjoy every moment."
Lots of congratulations have already poured in to the comments section on the news. RTL presenter Frauke Ludowig, for example, commented with three heart emojis: "So beautiful." Model Barbara Meier and TV star Rebecca Mir are also happy for Isabel Edvardsson. And stars from the "Let's Dance" family such as Motsi Mabuse, Evgeny Vinokurov, Valentin Lusin and Ekaterina Leonova also left their congratulations for the mother-to-be.
A veteran of "Let's Dance"
Isabel Edvardsson has been in a relationship with her husband Marcus Weiß, who is also a professional dancer, for 20 years and has been married since 2015. The couple's first son was born in September 2017. The dancer announced the birth of her second son in April 2021. Edvardsson has not yet revealed whether the couple are expecting another son or a little sister for their boys.
The Swedish dancer has been a contestant on "Let's Dance" since 2006, making her one of the show's veterans. In this year's edition of the RTL format(also available on RTL+), she came fifth with her dance partner, entertainer Jens "Knossi" Knossalla.
Edvardsson also already has two "Let's Dance" victories to her name: She won the dance show with actor Wayne Carpendale and singer Alexander Klaws in 2006 and 2014.
Despite her upcoming maternity leave, Isabel Edvardsson's fans can still look forward to seeing her on RTL's "Let's Dance" spin-off show, "RTL Plus," as she continues to be a beloved figure in the world of entertainment.
During her break from the main "Let's Dance" show, Isabel Edvardsson might find herself enjoying her favorite TV series, perhaps even some light-hearted entertainment to help her through her pregnancy days.
