RTL jungle camp 2024 - Is Thorsten Legat's son Nico Legat there?

The mystery surrounding the field of participants in the upcoming season of "Ich bin ein Star - Holt mich hier raus!" continues. As the newspaper "Bild" claims to have learned, Nico Legat (25) will allegedly venture into the RTL jungle camp. The 25-year-old would be following in the footsteps of his father Thorsten Legat (55).

Like father, like son

The former German footballer was himself a contestant on "Ich bin ein Star - Holt mich hier raus!" in 2016 and came third in the tenth season. Since then, he has repeatedly appeared as a guest on the RTL show. Thorsten Legat has also appeared in numerous other TV shows, including "Sommerhaus der Stars", "Grill den Henssler", "Schlag den Star", "Das Duell um die Welt" and "Ninja Warrior Promi Special".

Nico Legat, on the other hand, gained his first reality TV experience this year on "Temptation Island - Versuchung im Paradies". In the dating show, however, he cheated on his now former girlfriend Sarah Liebich in front of the camera. The two of them are currently in South Africa filming "Prominent getrennt"(also on RTL+), as RTL announced at the end of November.

Heinz Hoenig moves to the RTL jungle camp in 2024

It has not yet been confirmed whether Nico Legat will then make his way to Australia in January. Alongside him, "GZSZ" actor Felix von Jascheroff (41) and former "GNTM" contestant Anya Elsner (19) are also being touted as possible participants. Only actor Heinz Hoenig (72) has already been officially confirmed for the 17th season.
