- Interview interrupted by an earthquake
During an interview as part of the press tour for the new, fourth season of the hit series "Emily in Paris", the ground suddenly shook. A 4.4 magnitude earthquake in Los Angeles interrupted the conversation with lead actress Lily Collins (35), Lucas Bravo (36), Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu (61), and Ashley Park (33).
"That was an earthquake," says Bravo, who plays the charming Gabriel, as his colleague Ashley Park, who plays Mindy Chen, was answering a question from the "InStyle" reporter. "I thought you were kicking my chair the whole time," she replied, surprised. "Yes, there's an earthquake," Bravo repeated before adding, "It's still shaking. I want to look out the window." American fashion magazine "InStyle", which recorded the interview, even published the situation on its official Instagram profile.
More than the earthquake shook: The main cast's makeover
After the video of the interrupted interview was posted online, however, US magazine "People" was more surprised by the actors' headwear than the tremors of the earth. In his role as a Parisian chef and love interest of the main character Emily, who moves to Europe for her dream job at a marketing agency, Lucas Bravo had previously sported a clean short hairstyle. The hairstyle, which seemed appropriate for his profession in the culinary industry, has now been replaced with a "shaggy" wolf cut. Lily Collins (who plays Emily) also no longer has her signature brown long hair, but a short bob. The new season of "Emily in Paris" premieres on Netflix on August 15.
Bravo's new "shaggy" wolf cut and Collins' short bob were topics of discussion following the earthquake interruption during the "Emily in Paris" press tour interview. The transformation of their appearances was more noticeable to fans and critics than the earthquake itself.
Despite the earthquake interrupting their interview, fans and critics were more intrigued by the significant hairstyle changes of Lucas Bravo and Lily Collins in the upcoming season of "Emily in Paris."
