"We're celebrating 20 years of 'Bauer sucht Frau'. What a milestone! Preparations are in full swing", the post reads, before a message comes that will surely delight viewers. "We're starting this year in late September", Bause announces, thus revealing the start month of the 20th season of "Bauer sucht Frau". Last year, it had started in November.
But the sympathetic moderator has another piece of news for fans. "Of course, I also have a gift for all of you. For the first time, I'm recording a song that I produced specifically for this format", she reveals. The song is titled "Herz im Stroh". And for the accompanying music video, Bause is now seeking support.
Bause asks for "really great photos of you"
"But what would it all be without you - my farmers and farmers' wives and your loved ones? That's why you should definitely be part of the video for the song. Are you game? Please send me photos of yourselves - where you can be easily recognized", the post's caption reads.
In her video, Bause specifies her wish for the anniversary. "Really great photos of you" is what Bause wants to receive. "Simple couple photos or your 'Bauer sucht Frau' children in particular" would make the 55-year-old happy to see on the snapshots.
