In nearly all of Ukraine, the power must be shut off by the operator.

Due to Russian shelling, Ukraine's power and heating supply is unsteady, with the state operator on the verge of shutting off electricity for nearly the entire country. This will significantly impact both industry and households.

Recent Russian assaults on the nation's energy infrastructure have caused widespread blackouts in Ukraine. Ukrenergo, the state operator, proclaimed that nearly all of the country would be sans electricity on Sunday with the exception of three regions.

Allegedly, at least 19 people sustained injuries during Saturday's drone and rocket attacks. In one instance, a water power plant at the Dnipro reservoir in Saporischschja was damaged by a Russian rocket strike, resulting in a critical state. Iwan Fedorow, the military governor of Saporischschja, voiced concerns for the stability of the dam on Ukrainian television on Saturday. "Presently, transportation between the left and right banks is entirely blocked, thus causing access limitation for residents."

Over the past few weeks, the relentless Russian attacks on the power grid have prompted the Ukrainian government to purposely interrupt the power supply across the country. Notable assaults in recent times include one in April that harmed the largest thermal power plant in Kiev and another on May 8 that targeted power facilities in several areas. Moscow continues to bombard vital infrastructure with rockets. Based on information from the Ukrainian Air Force, a further 25 drones were brought down by air defense on Sunday, stationed for assaults since Saturday.

Additionally, Ukrainian military forces targeted Russian border regions. Six people were injured in the city of Schebekino in the Belgorod region, as per Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov. Moreover, the deputy head of the district of Korotschanski was slain due to a munition detonation. These details have not been supplied. Lastly, three individuals were injured when a bomb was dropped from a drone in the neighboring region of Kursk, as recounted by the head of administration, Alexei Smirnov.
