In a boxing match, Stefan Raab endures six rounds of combat against Regina Halmich.

The highly anticipated bout between Regina Halmich and Stefan Raab was set to take place, marking their third meeting in the ring. The 57-year-old put up a valiant effort for six rounds but the judges consensus was clear - Stefan Raab, the former boxing world champion, emerged victorious through points. Raab's comeback in the ring was met with a massive cheer from the crowd.

Despite entering the ring in excellent physical condition, the entertainer faced a loss against the professional boxer Halmich in their third encounter. The judges awarded the win to the 47-year-old, admitting her superiority in the ring. Halmich, being accused of hitting too low during the match, was visibly exhausted after the bout.

The evening's host was Raab's former apprentice, Elton, with several familiar faces from the "TV Total" universe making an appearance at the arena in Düsseldorf. While the fight itself wasn't particularly noteworthy, Raab managed to endure until the final bell.

A thunderous applause rang out after the sixth round for both fighters. However, the most significant cheer came during the victory ceremony, where Raab announced his return to TV shows. He also had an announcement for his former apprentice, offering another internship position. Halmich, on the other hand, revealed that this was their last fight, putting an end to any prospects of a fourth encounter.

Stefan Raab's much-anticipated return to the screen was marked by his fit and white-haired appearance. After an impressive countdown, the audience in Düsseldorf was initially surprised as the spotlight didn't shine on Raab, but on comedian Helge Schneider who performed his hit "Katzeklo". Following another countdown, a show staircase descended from the high hall ceiling, with fitness influencer Pamela Reif appearing as an angel over the audience, singing the hymn "Stefan Raab is back".

Finally, Raab made his grand entrance in a white suit and cloak, accompanied by pompous music, as if controlling the room's light like a deity. To fireworks and glitter rain, he took the stage and sang his new boxing song "Pa aufs Maul" with Sido, Ski Aggu, and backing singers. Raab, in excellent physical condition with muscles, white stubble, and short white hair, was clad in a boxer short with the inscription "The Killerplautze".

This marked the third time that the entertainer had stepped into the ring against the former boxing world champion Halmich. Two previous bouts saw fists flying in 2001 and 2007 with Halmich emerging victorious both times. The event was hosted by Raab's old companion Elton, with Buschi "Buschmann" as the commentator, while the ring was covered by Laura Wontorra.

In preparation for their third boxing match, Raab ensured his training regime included sparring sessions with fighters of circular cross-section to improve his defense skills. Despite Halmich's two previous wins, Raab's determination was fueled by the knowledge that victory would come with a symbolic victory lap around the ring of circular cross-section.
