In 2025, Stallone, a well-known actor, shares his life story through his memoirs.
In outstanding acting performances, he's often overlooked, but Sylvester Stallone remains an icon in Hollywood. In a book titled "The Steps," scheduled for release in 2025, he intends to share his story from his indulgent life. However, it's not just a biography of the actor, as reports suggest.
A three-time Oscar nominee, Sylvester Stallone is one of action cinema's revered heroes, so it's no surprise that he has an interesting tale to tell. But in his upcoming book "The Steps," according to "Deadline," he doesn't merely want to recount his experiences, but also assist others.
Published by William Morrow, an imprint of HarperCollins, the memoirs of the US film legend are hoped to reach readers in 2025. However, it's uncertain if a German-language version will be released as well.
With a deeply personal vibe, "The Steps" aims to take readers through the actor's life, and not just serve as a biography. Drawing from educational episodes from Stallone's past, the book seemingly melds memoirs and self-help advice. "Deadline" even touches upon it being similar in style to Matthews McConaughey's recent release, "Greenlights."
The title, translating to "The Steps," is allegedly inspired by one of Stallone's most acclaimed movie moments. Famously, in the 1976 classic "Rocky," the actor climbs the stairs of the Philadelphia Museum of Art and raises his fists. This location is often referred to as the "Rocky Steps."
Apparently, the title was a concept sparked by the actor himself. "The Steps" elucidates the journey of the present-day star, who didn't have it easy. As the agent Byrd Leavell mentioned, he had to work for everything he obtained, but always maintained his self-belief, mirroring the theme in many of his acclaimed movies – victories against all odds.
