Have a great time with this week's tweets!

Word of the Week

Every Friday, we pick out tweets that impressed us from the past week. Either because they were particularly funny or because they address topics we find important. Because family life isn't always sunshine and roses, we all experience things we could do without. But they're just as important and deserve our attention too. Only then can something change and hopefully improve in our society. That's why we can't avoid a mix of lighthearted and serious tweets. It reflects what Forrest Gump's mom already taught us: "Life is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you're gonna get."

Thanks for sharing your family anecdotes, they enrich our lives – and often the last workday before the weekend (if there's no weekend duty ...)! At the request of a fan, we've created a dedicated page where you can also find old tweet collections.

Thanks also for your emails letting us know that the weekly tweets also signal the start of your weekend! 🥰

If you experience something that deserves more space than an embedded tweet, feel free to email us at [email protected]. If we see potential in the topic because it could be interesting, inspiring, or important to many people, we'll get back to you. Some things start with small observations and only grow when many people notice a similar phenomenon or problem. We're excited to hear your ideas!

Watch the video: There are countless people in social networks sharing their family's daily life. Children are often the focus. But should children's pictures be shared publicly online? Stern spoke with influencers Mirella and Alicia Joe about the pros and cons of kids online.

Despite the varied inclusions in our weekly tweets, they all have a common thread, focusing on aspects of family life that are both joyous and challenging. Reflecting on different facets of family life helps us all grow and learn, enriching our understanding of society.
