Have a great time with the Tweets of the Week!
Word of the Weekend
Every Friday, we at Twitter select the tweets that impressed us the most from the previous week - either because they were particularly funny or because they address topics we find important. Because family life isn't always sunshine and roses, we all experience things we could do without. But they are just as important and deserve our attention too. Only then can something change and hopefully improve in our society. That's why we can't avoid a mix of light-hearted and serious tweets. It reflects what Forrest Gump's mom already taught us: "Life is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you're gonna get."
Thank you for sharing your family anecdotes, they enrich our lives - and often the last workday before the weekend (if there's no weekend duty...)! At the request of a fan, we have created a dedicated page where you can also find the old collections of tweets.
Thank you also for your emails letting us know that the Tweets of the Week also signal the weekend for you! 🥰
If you experience something that deserves more space than an embedded tweet, please feel free to write us an email at [email protected]. If we see potential in the topic because it could be interesting, inspiring, or important to many people, we will get back to you. Some things start with small observations and only become big when many people notice a similar phenomenon or problem. We look forward to your inspirations!
Watch the Video: In social networks, there are countless people who share the daily life of their family. Children are often the focus. But should children's pictures be shared publicly online? Stern spoke with influencers Mirella and Alicia Joe about the pros and cons of children online.
Despite the diverse mix of tweets, they all contribute to shedding light on various aspects of family life, reminding us that it's not always filled with sunshine and roses. Sharing anecdotes about family life enriches our understanding and appreciation for diverse experiences, making our society more empathetic and inclusive.
