Jennifer Lopez - I have so much love for you (plural)
Jennifer Lopez is completely overwhelmed by the well-wishes of her fans on her 55th birthday, which she celebrated on a Wednesday (24. July). This is apparent in the last Instagram post she shared. In two photos showing her in a mint green silk pajama set with a "Happy-Birthday" crown and in front of a flower-adorned cake, she expressed her heartfelt thanks to her fans with emotional words.
"I have seen all your birthday wishes, wonderful videos and contributions from all over the world last evening and this morning. I have laughed, smiled, shed a few tears and when I saw the billboard at Times Square, I was completely overwhelmed. I really have the best and coolest fans in the world," writes Lopez. "I cannot express how touched I am and how incredibly blessed I feel that you all are part of my life. I thank you sooooo much."
For her, it feels strange to think about how long this extraordinary journey has been going on. She still feels "like the same girl, full of energy and overconfidence, ready to take on the whole world, and yet so soft, fragile and sometimes afraid, but always full of love inside."
"You are my greatest gift"
Following this thank-you post, a love declaration to her fans ensued, as the singer and actress writes: "I want you to know that you are my greatest gift on my birthday. Besides my family and friends, you are always there for me, in the good and in the tough times. I can always count on you. And I want you to know that you can always count on me."
Fans reacted enthusiastically to her words and responded with equally long messages and more birthday wishes. Among the congratulators are numerous celebrities, such as Paris Hilton (43), who wrote: "Happy birthday, you're beautiful."
Pre-Birthday-Party with "Bridgerton" motif
Already on Saturday, July 20, Lopez held a birthday party in celebration of her birthday. According to US magazine "People", the party had a special motif, as guests appeared in ball gowns in the style of the Netflix series "Bridgerton". Lopez herself shared a few days later an Instagram video that shows some highlights of the extravagant party.
Birthday party without Ben Affleck?
Both at the Pre-Birthday-Party and at the shared lunch the following day, Jennifer Lopez' husband Ben Affleck (51) was apparently not present. This comes as no surprise, as in the past few weeks, the singer and the actor have been appearing increasingly alone and have attended important events separately. An official confirmation of the break-up, however, is still lacking.
