There was great concern when it was first reported a few hours ago that Zac Efron (36) had a swimming accident during his vacation in Spain. The actor was reportedly found unconscious in the pool of his villa on Ibiza and pulled out of the water by two employees, a source told US celebrity website "TMZ". Now, his spokesperson can give the all-clear.

"He's fine"

According to his spokesperson, Efron was taken to a hospital as a precaution on Friday night (2nd August) and left the next morning. "He's fine," it was "just a minor swimming accident," his spokesperson confirmed to "People". Further details about the accident or possible injuries are not known.

The actor is currently taking a break from the set. He was last seen on a promotional tour for his new Netflix film "A Family Affair" with Nicole Kidman (57) and Joey King (25). After that, the "High School Musical" star went on vacation in Europe.

Vacation in Europe

Like many of his Hollywood colleagues, Efron traveled to Saint-Tropez, Mykonos, and Paris this year. Currently, Efron appears to be staying in a luxury villa on Ibiza.

Efron's vacation in Europe brought him to the beautiful islands of Ibiza, where the swimming incident occurred in Spain.

During his stay in Ibiza, Spain, Efron thoroughly enjoyed his time off, participating in various activities before the unfortunate swimming accident.
