Paris Hilton - Hotel heiress would like to be pregnant herself
In the second season of"Paris In Love", Paris Hilton (42) talks about the "difficult decision" to have her second child carried by a surrogate mother.
According to the show, Hilton would have loved to go through the pregnancy experience herself: "I would have loved to see the baby grow in my belly, feel the kicks and experience all those exciting moments," quotes "People" from the first episode. The reason for the surrogacy was that Hilton's life was "just so public".

Hilton and her husband Carter Reum's (42) daughter London is biological and was carried by a surrogate mother. So the birth of her second child was a big surprise for the public. As she recently revealed on the talk show "Live! With Kelly & Mark", the hotel heiress also surprised her family with the new baby news. She appeared at Thanksgiving dinner without warning with the new baby in her arms. "They just couldn't believe it. It was the best Thanksgiving I've ever had," Paris reported.
Paris' son, Phoenix Barron Hilton, was born via a surrogate mother in January 2023. In an interview with British magazine Glamour in March, Paris explained why she decided to have children this way. At the time, her life as a public figure was not the reason.
Rather, she was afraid of doctors' surgeries and the physical process of giving birth: an episode of her former reality show "The Simple Life", in which she was in the room when a woman had a baby, had left her permanently traumatized. "But I really wanted a family, it's just the physical part ... I'm just so scared. Birth and death are the two things that scare me more than anything else in the world," says Paris.
