Hugh Jackman and Ryan Reynolds - Hollywood stars don't miss out on the European Championship

European stars and politicians mingling together is not an unusual sight at EM games. Even Prince William (42) graced the Viertelfinal match between England and Switzerland with his presence. It was unexpected that two international top stars attended a home EM game.

A "wonderful" football night for Ryan Reynolds

Hugh Jackman (55) and Ryan Reynolds (47) are currently on a promotional tour for their new film "Deadpool & Wolverine," which premieres in cinemas on July 24. It was fitting that during the Hollywood stars' stay in Berlin, the Viertelfinal match between the Netherlands and Turkey took place at the Olympiastadion on July 6.

Both Jackman and Reynolds shared several pictures of their stadium visit on Instagram the following day. Jackman wrote, "We're just starting out, Berlin," and shared a short clip of him cycling through the city and calling out "Good morning, Berlin." Reynolds, on the other hand, spoke of a "wonderful evening at the EM-Match," which may have gotten a little out of hand. He shared, among other things, pictures of his Deadpool character attempting to steal the match ball. Additionally, he posted a picture showing Co-star Emma Corrin (28) and Director Shawn Levy (55) in the stadium.

Before the match, the two stars also spoke with Kamila Benschop (37) at MagentaTV and expressed their excitement about the atmosphere at the Olympiad. "I've never seen anything like this before," explained Reynolds. "It's insane," agreed Jackman. However, they brought some football knowledge with them. Reynolds is a co-owner of the Welsh football club Wrexham AFC. Jackman is rumored to be a fan of the English Norwich City FC.
