The weekend of the Grand Prix of Great Britain takes place from 5th to 7th July at Silverstone. However, Hollywood air was blowing through the pits on Thursday (4th July): Hollywood star Brad Pitt (60) was spotted there. According to the British "Daily Mail", he was filming scenes for his upcoming Formula-1 film.
Pitt, who already filmed there in 2023, was seen in a black look with a jacket, shirt, and sunglasses, as well as in a racing suit with a helmet. The suit had the fictional team APXGP written on it, which is set to play a role in the film.

Besides Pitt's leading role as Sonny Hayes, Damson Idris (32) will take on an important part. The British actor will portray an up-and-coming racer, with Pitt's character serving as his mentor. Apple TV+ announced at the end of June when the Formula 1 film will hit the cinemas. In Germany, it's set for 26th June 2025, and in the US, it's a day later. Apple has entered into a cooperation with the distribution company Warner Bros. for the cinema release, as announced by the streaming service in a press release. The length of time the racing spectacle will run in cinemas before moving to streaming is still unknown. According to "The Hollywood Reporter", it's at least 30 days. Joseph Kosinski (50) will direct the untitled film, with Jerry Bruckheimer (80) producing behind the scenes.
