- His granddaughter finally meets the family
She's almost 15 months old, but it's only now that Ireland Baldwin's (28) daughter is meeting her little aunts and uncles - the seven children of her father Alec Baldwin (66) and his wife Hilaria (40). On Instagram, the model shares photos and videos of the gathering.
"Finally, Holland has met her aunts and uncles," the daughter of Alec Baldwin and his ex-wife Kim Basinger (70) writes on the picture of her daughter sitting on a couch, surrounded by her father's children: Ilaria Catalina Irena (22 months), Maria Lucia Victoria (3), Eduardo "Edu" Pao Lucas (3), Romeo Alejandro David (6), Leonardo Angel Charles (7), Rafael Thomas (9), and Carmen Gabriela (10).
Why now?
The model lives with her partner André Allen Anjos (known as musician RAC) in Oregon on the West Coast of the USA, while the Baldwins are in Vermont on the East Coast. This is the first time the entire family has come together after the stressful months Alec Baldwin has been through. Just a few weeks ago, a case against the US actor was unexpectedly dismissed due to a procedural error. In October 2021, the then 42-year-old cinematographer Halyna Hutchins (1979-2021) was fatally injured on the set of the film "Rust" by a bullet from a gun that Baldwin was holding.
More family insights
Since June, it has been known that there will soon be a reality show about the Baldwin family. The actor, his wife, and their seven children will be seen in a TLC show called "The Baldwins" in 2025. "We invite you into our home to experience the highs and lows, the good, the bad, the wild, and the crazy," Alec Baldwin says in a preview.
After the dismissal of the case against him, Ireland Baldwin's family decided to gather, allowing Holland to meet her little aunts and uncles for the first time. In the future, viewers will get a closer look at the Baldwin family in their reality show, "The Baldwins," where Alec invites everyone to experience their lives.
