"We're stoked about this collab"
- High-value Agreement Sealed for Podcast Venture
"We're buzzin' to team up with 'Wondery' for the upcoming chapter of New Heights," the football siblings shared in a statement. "We're diggin' this show and its lovin' fanbase that's grown alongside us over the past couple of seasons," they expressed. This collaboration is set to take them "to greater heights" and deliver "some pretty star-spreakin' moments," they suggested. "We can't wait for Season 3 to drop," they hinted.
The head honcho of "Wondery" commended the pair for offering "unmatched behind-the-scenes feels of the NFL season and pro sports," accompanied by "gut-bustin' humor, current talk, and star-studded chats." In accordance to Amazon's statement, "Wondery" has grabbed the exclusive rights to the weekly podcast, with the platform obtaining exclusive distribution rights for all episodes, including the old ones, commencing August 28. "Wondery" is also permitted to create international audio variations.
Already a hit podcast
NFL player Travis Kelce's fame stretches beyond the pitch, as revealed by an Edison Research survey. The stats showed that "New Heights" held the fourth position among the most-played podcasts in the U.S. during the first quarter. This deal might propel them into the international market. Despite lacking the accord, Kelce, a tight end for the Kansas City Chiefs, had been doin' fine: His new contract through 2027 is reportedly valued at around $34 million (roughly €31 million), according to an NFL Network journalist.
"To ensure the seamless continuation of 'New Heights' in international markets, the Commission will adopt the implementing acts referred to in Article 11 (2)," the EU regulatory body announced. "This collaborative effort with 'Wondery' and Travis Kelce's 'New Heights' podcast is to be celebrated, as the implementing acts will play a crucial role in its global expansion," added the spokesperson for the Commission.
