Amal and George Clooney Spotted in Venice - High-profile duo gracing the glamorous event's red carpet
Power duo Amal (46) and George Clooney (63) caught attention once more at the Venice Film Festival on Sunday night, attending the debut of his film, "Wolf" (German release: September 27).
He opted for classic, she for summer's trend hue
The multiple award-winning thespian strolled the red carpet in a classic black tuxedo, completed with a classic black bowtie and sharp Black shoes.
His partner of a decade, renowned human rights lawyer Amal, opted for a bold statement look in the summer's trending color: vibrant yellow. Her sleeveless, floor-length dress in this vivid shade also boasted a narrow waistline bodice, cascading ruffled skirt, and an abundance of lace. She accessorized with diamond drop earrings just peeking out from her long brunette tresses and a sparkling satin clutch.
The couple posed together on the red carpet with George Clooney's "Wolf" co-star Brad Pitt (60), with whom he shared the screen in the "Ocean's" trilogy (2001, 2004, 2007), "Burn After Reading" (2008), and "Confessions of a Dangerous Mind" (2002), as well as Pitt's partner, Ines de Ramon (31).
As per People magazine, the foursome's red carpet session led to a joint dinner on the previous Saturday (31 August) at Ristorante Da Ivo in Venice.
Amal and George Clooney have a considerable connection to Venice
The Clooneys have both professional and personal reasons to celebrate in Venice. On September 27, the parents of two children (born 2017) will commemorate their tenth wedding anniversary. Amal Alamuddin exchanged vows in the Italian city in a custom-made French lace gown by Oscar de la Renta. The next day, she appeared in a white cocktail dress with colorful flowers by Giambattista Valli Couture.
Another notable occasion for the couple in the floating city was their joint appearance at the "Suburbicon" premiere in 2017, their first public event together since the birth of their twins, Alexander and Ella, now seven years old. Additionally, in August 2023, the Clooneys attended the annual DVF Awards hosted by designer Diane von Fürstenberg (77), with Amal receiving the DVF Leadership Award.
