Helene Fischer unveils unexpected news.
"Jump, jump, jump I always do ..." Get ready to jump around to the "Fliegerlied" with Helene Fischer soon! But the beloved Schlager queen's latest project, which she recently announced, is aimed at a younger, potentially entirely new audience: Fischer will release a children's album on November 1st.
The 40-year-old singer shared this news, among other things, in a clip on her Instagram page. "I took the time to record a children's songs album, as it has been a big wish of mine for many years," she explains in the video.
Her songs aren't just for fun and games, but they can really teach you something. She's "completely thrilled" that "the first installment, the first album, is in the can."
But this won't be the only album. More kid-friendly music and products are in the works, such as song collections with lullabies, learning and movement songs, or a "sound book." "You click on something, and it makes sounds," Fischer explains the concept. "This is a great start for many more fantastic things to come," she says, excitedly, adding that she'll also appear as a younger 3D version of herself in animated videos, diving into a magical world with friends and animals.
"An album for children, by children"
Even though it's a children's album, "it's unmistakably a Helene Fischer album," the singer assures. Her "distinct sound" is still present in these songs. "It's an album for children, by children. You'll feel like a child again. That's amazing," Fischer sums up, promising at the same time not to forget her adult fans. She plans to be back on stage with her classic hits as early as her stadium tour in 2026.
Fischer has had many chances to become a children's songs expert in recent years. She refers to the fact that she became a mother of a daughter herself three years ago. Her husband and the father of her child is the acrobat Thomas Seitel, with whom she has been married for three years.
The upcoming children's album by Helene Fischer, filled with educational songs, is sure to provide enjoyable entertainment for children. This new project, while aimed at a younger audience, maintains Fischer's unique and distinct musical style, making it an "album for children, by children."
